Call Marin Home Board Member: George Brewster
George is a former real estate attorney, developer, investor and advisor, and was the founding Executive Director of the Center for Creative Land Recycling. He has developed over 500 single-family homes, renovated 4.500 multi-family units, and built a headquarters complex for Visa. He has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute and its Residential and Green Building Councils, a lifetime member of The Counselors of Real Estate, an appointed member of the EPA’s Environmental Financial Advisory Board during the Clinton administration and has served on a dozen public, private and nonprofit boards. George has authored several books and articles on land use and green building including “The Ecology of Development” (ULI) and “Land Recycling and the Creation of Sustainable Communities” (CCLR). He is active as a strategic advisor to family offices with large real estate holdings.
