1515 4th Street | San Rafael
1515 4th Street was originally approved as a mixed-use project with 162 housing units included. However, in July 2024 the project shifted to a complex for seniors. It will include 155 independent and assisted living dwellings and 28 memory care rooms. This project is in a walkable area near transit. The proposed height and density of this project are important environmental benefits. The smaller footprint on land uses less water and energy than a lower density design.
