Los Gamos | San Rafael
A new application for the site at 1100 Los Gamos Drive was submitted in August, 2026. This project is endorsed by Call Marin Home.
Housing Affordability:
Los Gamos will provide 192 units of 100% affordable housing, serving very-low- and low-income households at 30–70% AMI. The inclusion of up to four-bedroom homes addresses the significant need for family-sized housing in Marin County.
Environmental Benefits:
The project will be fully electric and include ample bicycle parking. We also appreciate the consideration of reducing vehicle parking. Sustainable materials will be incorporated throughout the project.
Equity and Accessibility:
The mix of one- to four-bedroom homes will expand housing opportunities for families, including multigenerational households, while addressing the shortage of larger rental units. The project’s communal kitchen and planned food security programming are particularly valuable. The project also exceeds standard California accessibility requirements. 15% percent of units will be accessible for people with mobility constraints, 10% will accommodate sensory needs, and all units will be adaptable. Providing accessible, affordable homes across a range of sizes will help meet the diverse housing needs of Marin residents.
