Board of Supervisors – Affordable Housing Trust Fund discussion: November 3 | Time to be announced | Room 330, Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael
The Board of Supervisors will discuss possible changes to how the County’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund is allocated. This could have significant impacts on the feasibility of affordable housing projects in Marin’s incorporated areas. Please register if you are able to attend, and we will coordinate before the meeting.
North Bay All-Hands Regional Housing meeting: November 9 | 1:00 pm | Jonas Center at College of Marin, Novato campus
Join to learn about: 1) Overview of the regional process, goals, and engagement plan
Presentations outlining potential funding uses and revenue mechanisms; 2) Facilitated small-group discussions to surface community insights; 3) Opportunities to identify priorities, highlight gaps, and weigh key tradeoffs; 4) Dedicated time for caucusing and feedback.
Envision Marin Workshop, special Call Marin Home meeting: November 17 | 4:00 PM Location TBD
The County is developing its first Countywide Strategic Plan in more than 25 years to guide priorities over the next six years. To prepare, the County offers two additional opportunities for your members to participate:
- Engage Marin: Visit Engage Marin to share ideas and priorities for Marin’s future.
- Community Meetings: Attend one of our upcoming community workshops to share perspectives and help shape the Strategic Plan.
We recommend reviewing the County information and attending a workshop if possible before the Nov 17th meeting.
